Aleesa Plungis

Aleesa started playing trumpet in middle school and has pursued it since then.  She went to a performing arts high school and participated in: the marching band, jazz band, wind ensemble, symphony orchestra, youth orchestra, and all-county.  While in high school Aleesa received many superior medals, awards, and first chair placement in all-county twice.  She received her Associates Degree with an emphasis in music from Hillsborough Community College.  While at Hillsborough Community College, she received performer of the semester (4) times, participated in stage band and their CD recording, and participated and performed a solo with the Fanfare Concert Winds.  She will start studying at the University of South Florida in the fall of 2008 where she will be studying Music Education.  Aleesa has performed in music pits for community musicals, Disney’s Christmas Parade, and Churches through out the area.  Aleesa enjoys music because it is a great way of expressing one-self.
